Is it possible to brew marijuana beer?

Anyone can brew beer from different things – cranberries, pumpkin, wheat, barley, corn, etc. can you make beer with marijuana, and would it retain the THC?

The delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol would probably remain if one was to use it in the brewing process. My knowledge of molecular biology is somewhat limited, so I can't be sure, but you may find this site interesting. onr.com/user/liberty/Marijuan…
I can't speak to its reliability though.

Not sure about beer. maybe if you left the herb in while it was fermenting you could get something. THC is alcohol soluble but there is not much alcohol in beer. and you generally take all the solid matter out before fermentation.

It has been done but the results, so far as I know, were not worth it. Stick with hops. They are closely related to marijuana and have some of the same effects, in addition to helping to preserve the beer.

how can you mix the devil (alcohol), with a Godly substance (THC)?!!?!?!?

but scientifically speaking, yes, you can. you would need to get the THC extracted in an oil-based solution.

yes you can and you can buy hemp seed brewed beer .but it has no thc of course.just use the bud with hops when brewing.

I've heard of dragon liqour but let's see if we get so more info.MISFITS look it up on the net there's a whole thing on puting weed in liqour for about three to four weeks then your going to be **** faced for a whole year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…

Anyone out there Homebrew their own beer?

I want to hear about your experience… I am trying to decide if I want to get into it…

I have and it takes a while to get right but its way better than store bought. I moved up to wine, wiskey, brandy, and moonshine. just as easy to make but better. you can even get a licence to make moonshine if your afraid to get caught, look it up on the internet.

I don't personally, but I have a friend that does and it is really excellent. It's alot stronger than regular beer and can really kick your a@@.

is a great hobby with unlimited possibility's buy the homebrewer companion by charlie papazan

wells……. alton brown on the food network made his own once :)

yes it is very good beer , and pretty potent to. It's not that hard to make and is pretty in-expensive. I have made some before and my father-n-law makes his own often. you should easily be able to find recipies on the internet if don't have one already.
Good luck , try it , you will enjoy it !

My husband does and he really enjoys his own beer.
He also makes stout, cider and ginger beer.
The real benefit , other than saving a lot of money, is that you change it to your personal taste.
If you do not want a particularly potent brew you can modify it.
There are lots of books about it.
Also a great hobby.
You can also do beer tasting competitions for fun.
(Lots of fun!)
