I love olives, and I've heard of a martini-ish drink containing a bunch?

Do you know the name of this drink or something similar? I would feel silly ordering a dirty vodka martini with 12 olives…haha…
Recipes are welcome, too!

as a bartender, that's the only way i have ever heard it ordered. you can pick your brand of vodka, order it dirty, lightly dirty or extra dirty. you can ask for as many olives as you want. but superstition says it must be an odd number that goes in a martin or bad luck.when it comes to a recipe, just buy a bottle of vodka, a jar of olives, maybe a bottle of extra olive juice and play til you get it right for you.

i'd recommend extra dry vermouth for your martini. generally, dirty martinis use less vermouth than their clean counterparts.

Dirty Martini

2 oz gin or vodka
1 tbsp dry vermouth
2 tbsp olive juice
2 olives

1. place an ice cube and a small amount of water in a cocktail glass. place in freezer for 2 – 3 minutes.

2. Fill a mixer with all ingredients including garnish. Cover and shake hard 3 – 4 times.

3. Remove cocktail glass from freezer, and empty. Strain contents of the mixer into the cocktail glass, include one of the olives, and serve with a mysterious smile.

Here's one I saw at a swank club in Los Angeles:

CEO – Chopin, Extra Olives.
Ask for as many as you'd like I reckon…
