Country music star Hank Williams Jr. isn’t about to go away quietly following controversial remarks last week that let to the end of his opening song gig on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football.”

Williams has made a new song available for free on his website Monday for 48 hours, which knocks ESPN and Fox News Channel for the uproar caused by an analogy he made on “Fox & Friends.”

“MNF’s” theme song, based on Williams’ hit “All My Rowdy Friends,” was yanked permanently from the opening of the sports telecast last week after he said the “golf summit” between President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner was like Adolf Hitler golfing with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In the song “keep the Change,” Williams sings “so ‘Fox & Friends’ wanna put me down/Ask for my opinion/Twist it all around.”

In the chorus of the song, Williams sings, “this country sure as hell’s been going down the drain,” as well as “United Socialist States of America — how do you like that name?”

At the end of the song, Williams sings, “you can keep Fox and Friends and ESPN out of your home, too.”

Williams was set to hit the TV interview circuit Tuesday to talk about the controversy — first with Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar on ABC’s “The View” — who came to the country singer’s defense over the flap.

“Whoopi and Joy understood what I was saying,” said Williams in a statement on his website. “after watching the clip of their show, I knew I needed to talk to them first.  who knows Whoopi may run for President and I’ll be her Vice President…now that will really stir it up!”

The singer is also set to join Sean Hannity for an interview Tuesday night on the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.”

Williams’ customary “are you Ready For some Football?” opening on “MNF” Monday night was replaced with an intro by Detroit Lions running back great Barry Sanders. ESPN reportedly plans on having a different personality do the opening for the show every week.

What's a good toolset to buy for christmas gift?

I'm trying to pick out a tools combo for my bf. He planning to use them around the house, should prob. have drill, screwdriver, saw, sander and i don't know what else he'd need. I'm trying to get a good set that worth the price. maybe lifetime warranty would be good too. I'm looking at couple different brand (makita, craftsman, dewalt, firestorm) and different set, but not sure which to pick. any suggestion would be great. I never buy tools before so not really sure what to look for. Cordless maybe? let me know what's a good value set tool combo?

Start with a drill and a set of drill bits. cordless.

I would say buy craftsman tools from sears, if you are looking for wrench's, and other hand tools, they have the best replacement warranty out there, no Q's asked, so if he would use a screw driver for a chisel, or a pry bar and bend or brake it, just take it to your nearest sears and say whoops! merry Xmas

It would be hard to choose a few good tools or sets from all that are available. my advice would be to go to a Lowes or Home Depot and get a gift card so that he can use it to buy the tools he wants/needs. As for the size of the card, go the store and ask one of the floor people about different prices of various items so that you have an idea of what you can spend on his gift. I think he will really love being able to pick out his own tools and accessories.

I would have to say is my craftsman from sears, it has lasted for more then 7yrs…

My husband loves tools and I often buy tools for him. I find anything from Black and Decker has proven it's long lasting use and durabilitiy! from home repair and renovations to gardening tools! Good Luck! Merry Christmas!

Get him a Dremmel (might be Drimmel). It's this nifty little tool that has all kinds of attachments and does a million things! It sands, polishes, engraves, drills, etc. my husband loves his!

Sanding question – I am removing and old finish from my railings – need advise on a mini sander?

Sanding question – I am removing and old finish from my railings – need advise on a mini sander?
I have a 5" diameter random orbital sander that works beautifully on large surfaces. but for the insides of the balusters I need something smaller. So, I have the Ryobi mini orbital sander 12,000 rpm. unfortunately, this thing takes 5 times the work of the 5" sander.

Anyone have any recommendations for a smaller orbital sander or the like that will do the job faster for me?

(I do not have an air compressor so the Chicago Pnuematic Mini Orbital Sander) is out of the question – although it would probably have been great!)

Thank you!

Consider a triangular head detail sander. Mine came from Sears.

Try a liquid stripper. Paint it on with a small brush.
