I just got the cartridge out of the box, placed it into the Printer, it still prints blank pages, (blank with some black lines in it)
the cartridge is brand new and definitely matches the Printer Model,
it's a Q2612A for HP 1020
any help ?
Two things come to mind:
Sometimes new laser toner cartridges come with a little piece of foil over the hole that toner comes out of. a bunch of laser printers have a little pin that punctures this hole, but some don't.
If that isnt it and a good shaking doesnt do it (making sure not to get toner everywhere by plugging the hole) , it might be a faulty cartridge

Is it easy to refill the toner cartridge for a Brother laser printer model HL-2140?
Where to find the toner and how to fill it?
Any office supply store should have a replacement cartridge. might try the larger electronics stores too.
gah.. i'd never do that.. the one instance that the thing would fail, that room would be covered with that nasty dust (toner)

I’ve got an okidata c6100 color laser printer. if i were to print a color picture, its comes out great. if i were to print a black and white document, not so great. The letters come out all faded and glitchy, I’m really not sure how to explain it so I’m going to try and include a picture.
I’ve unplugged the printer, plugged it back in. I’ve restored the printer to its default settings and still no go. I’ve replaced the black toner and drum and STILL I’m having the same issue. this problem started happening 2 days ago. I’ve been trouble shooting it since then. Prior to two days ago it was printing great! I didn’t do anything special; I printed out a 20 page document and went to bed. Woke up went to work, went to school, came home, printed a report and bam! The problems started.
So far ive printed a black and white document in word with the issue. I printed a colored jpeg from my pictures folder and that comes out great. I printed a black and white pdf document with a picture and that comes out all messed up. a colored pic from a pdf comes out fine.

My setup:
OkiData c6100 Color Laser printer connected to a Lenovo a700 Ideacentre with a USB cable & connected to a netgear router as a shared networked printer.
I also use my laptop, a lenovo x201t with the same results i mentioned in the post.

Hello all,
I am having a printing issue with a HP Color LaserJet 4600. Images that has a lot of blue/cyan and yellow gradually bleeds/fade to white on the right side of the paper. the yellow and blue/cyan cartridge toners have been replaced as well all cartridges have been cleaned and re-aligned.
What could be the issue?
