Just curious if anyone new of some 3rd part software for my Buffalo wireless g ethernet converter (model wli-tx4-g54hp ). Anything software/firmware out there that could possibly turn it into a wireless repeater to extend my wireless network range? Probably not but i figured i would give it a shot and ask anyway.

I have reason to believe that one of my computers might have a keylogger on it, and I'm worried that it might spread to the other computers on my network.
Doubt it. I don't think a virus can spread through your internet, it stays in one computer's hard drive; i believe.
Sure can if your security is not tight…Software keyloggers are carried by viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware.
The "keylogger" records everything the user types in, including e-mails, login names, passwords, credit card numbers, bank account Web sites, etc., in order to steal this information. Most keyloggers are invisible; they save the recorded keystrokes into a log file or send them to another machine. Known as the computer virus that takes spying on victims to another level, this malicious program is capable of turning a webcam on from a remote location allowing the author to literally peek into victims' lives!
Scientists simulated a virus infection of real wireless networks in a handful of U.S. cities, including San Francisco, Chicago, new York and Boston. they found that the infection of just a small number of routers triggered an outbreak, with the virus spreading to tens of thousands of routers within a week, most within the first 24 hours. The results are published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Wireless networks are weakened by a general lack of security, including a failure to change the default password.

I have a netgear wireless card and I am connected to the wireless router, I go into a browser and type a URL but I get no webpages.
Make sure that your MAC address filtering is set up correctly
turn it on and in the lower corner of your computer click the computer with an x
