on my Xbox 360 it says that i have a moderate NAT, and i need to have as open NAT. in order to join games.
how do change the NAT Settings?

im using Windows XP

Is it possible to connect two ADSL netgear routers together, one wireless and one wired ASDL router together using cat 5e cable. The wired router is Netgear Modem Router DG834 and the wireless is the WG111T. thanks

If you want to use 2 separate net connection to-gather then sorry you can not do this just by connecting any cable. for this you have to setup an server in Unix/Linux. otherwise just for networking sake (though of no use) you may connect them using Cat5 cable but you have to change IP of either ADSL as default IP of all ADSL is 192.168.1.1 Hope this will help you a bit.

hi.
i need information regarding setting up of linksys wireless WRH54G to the laptop and internet. the main problem i have is " THE LANPORT of the laptop is not working ". so i cannot use a lanport wire to the laptop. i have a linksys 5.4gb wireless usb adapter.
WHAT i wanna know is can i configure my linksys router with the internet and the laptop without a lanport on my laptop and by just using a wireless usb linksys adapter in the usb port of the laptop.

everywhere on the internet, it says that for the INITIAL router setup we need to connect the ROUTER and the LAPTOP initially with a cord { lanport cord}. then after the settings are setup we can use the wireless usb to connect to the router from next time onwards.
please help me with this. can i configure the router to internet modem and laptop with just a wireless usb adapter fixed in the laptop usb port. what i mean there will a wired connection from the internet modem to the router , and a wireless connection form the router to the laptop for the initial setup . will it work ?

I have a sony vaio that's been system formatted to its original state. the only problem with this laptop is that it cannot connect to my Netgear wireless router's connection. it keeps on trying to gain access. However, the weirdest part is that it can connect to other networks just fine. only my netgear router is the one that it cannot connect to. How do I fix this problem?

easiest fix would be updating your wireless card drivers sometimes the version that you might have problems picking certain routers. the other option is reset your router don't put any password and see if you can access it once you're accessed set up your password.
