I have a lab write up revolving around this question. we are supposed to figure it out by drawing conclusions, but I can't figure it out.
There was an experiment. two plants, each supplied with water and CO2. One was inside a black trash bag, the other was inside a clear plastic bag. For both of the plants, the CO2 increased, and oxygen inside the bag stayed the same.
For the second experiment, a few severed leaves were placed inside a glass container, supplied with water and CO2. The oxygen level increased while the CO2 decreased. why is this?
Is it because the plastic does now allow certain light wavelengths through?
