I have a 1 year old white german shepherd i'm hoping to go into wilderness EMT training in the summer/fall and would like a job where i could bring my dog with…how do i accomplish that?
If you email me your county, I can put you in touch with the SARS club in your area. they have ongoing training sessions.
Just a note..all of the clubs that I know, require the dog to be neutered/spayed..the one in your county may be an exception..
Call your local animal shelter,
I'm currently an EMT student and I'm starting to prepare myself for testing. We can register to take either the state or national EMT-B certification test. I don't plan on working in Illinois for the rest of my life, but I'd like the option to move anywhere and work as an EMT. Would testing at the national level be the best route for me? Thanks for your advice!
I would take the NREMT. like you stated, taking the NREMT leaves the door open to work in any state. just make sure you keep your NREMT status and do not let it lapse.
