My motherboard only has IDE ports. I want to buy an External Hard Drive. I've found a good deal on a SATA hard drive/enclosure. just wondering if there would be a conflict.
Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question!
Connecting an external USB-HDD (SATA) to your computer cannot create any conflict for as long as you should each hard drives to either primary master, primary slave, secondary master or secondary slave.
