I live in Arizona and only have swamp coolers to keep my place cool…and it is not working…I need to find something better, but I dont want my electric bill to go through the roof
the the higher the s.e.e.r the better
they're all energy effecient for the most part now. just find one that's big enough 4 the area u want 2 cool so u won't have to leave it on all the time. GE, FRIEDRICH, FEDDERS, are good ones from my experience. u should look into a portable one too. there not that much more n do a great job too. plus u can move it from room 2 room. GE makes a good one and the price is very reasonable.
depends on how many square ft. you have to cover. anything over 10,000 btu is easier on electric bill. so fiqure out your square ft and go from there.
