What are the best and cheapest batteries to use for a digital camera?

I've just recently bought a digital camera. It's a SamSung Digimax S500. I've already gone through about 20 batteries in four days. (Both Energizer type and Duracell).

What are some good batteries that last a long time in a digital camera? I love my camera and love taking pictures with it but get frustrated at the batteries always dying on me. Do you guys think I should invest in rechargeable batteries? answers appreciated. Thanks!

keep two sets of ni-mh rechargeable batteries so you can swap them when one set goes down. get the largest mAh rating you can find, they hold a charge longer. Good thing about ni-mh batteries is they do not have a memory. I picked up a charger with batteries at a closeout store for $10. a real bargain since it also included a car adapter and four 2000mAh batteries.

If you have a Biglots store in your area, they might have it.

Good luck!

1800 nmh rechargebale batteries. they last way longer than normal batteries and you can keep reusing them, so much cheaper in the end. usually some chargers come with batteries (i htink they are normally 1600) but I upped the level to the 1800 and they last a lot longer.

With the price of the rechargeable NiMH battery are getting low. It will be wise to get rechargeable NiMH batteries. Reason for that is rechargeable NiMH batteries do last longer than alkaline batteries. for digital camera, I would recommend to get nothing less than 2200mAh so it'll last longer. You'll actually save money to switch to rechargeable than keep using alkaline. for more information on rechargeable batteries. Check out this site [ greenbatteries.com/batterymyt… ]

Re-chargeable….invest in a charger.

My BIOS doesn't recognise my usb?

I want to reinstall my XP,but I'm with laptop and its original cd is something like dead,so i use an USB connected CD/DVD .THe problem is that bios can't load windows from there. What should i do?(My laptop is gericom and there is absolutely no support in the site)

You can't boot from a USB Drive, sorry. you need to use a drive that's connected with a 'proper' connector.
