The question of all time, so you have a few hundred dollars (and by a few I mean two – three) just lying around and need & want to use them to try and generate some more, but there is a two – three weeks time frame and low risk is a must. So basically I need to make money with the money I have and I don't have a lot of time and I can't lose the money.
Open a brokerage account at Zecco and buy at least 4 shares of Altria (NYSE:MO) and they will pay you at least $12.00 every year until you die. (4.30% yearly)
If you buy at least one more share each week then you will retire with millions of dollars.
Like my Dad said"The best way to double your money is to fold it and put it in your pocket"!
Also, plan on saving a set amount each payday, put IT in an account to make interest and you won't have $200 or $300 "laying around" to worry about.
My fiance does wonders with selling items on eBay. he makes rent every month doing the following things. For instance, check out slickdeals.net. Not everything is worth selling, but occasionally they have things like $5 free shipping for 50 packs of blank DVDs. These always sell on eBay. he has also gone to garage sales and auctions to get popular DVDs and CDs, sometimes still packaged, for a quarter or 50 cents. Anything used falls in value, so new is the gold standard. Make sure you familiarize yourself with eBay's rules. Always look at completed listings of the item you're selling to see exactly what they're being sold for, not just listed for, and you'll see good ways to describe the item. Fancy html is not necessary.
In addition, keep track of all expenses and income for each transaction. For instance, purchasing item, eBay insertion fees, final value fees, paypal fees for credit card transactions, and shipping costs. Don't sell it if you won't make anything! Then you'll know how much many you put in and how much you're making.
