How can I get my hair to stay straight after straightening it?

I sstraightenmy hair a lto and it is kind of damaged and by mid-day my hair is frizzy and not straight. What products (shampoos conditioners, sprays, etc) or collection or process can i use to make protected, silky and Straight throughout the day.

(also I'd like to know a good treatment to repair my hair) =]

If you want to repair your hair, quit using heat products fully… Unless you wanna shave it all off and start over Lol. I'm kidding some ways you can repair damaged hair:

– use a leave-in conditioner (I like Paul Mitchell. Put it in after your shower at night and in the mroning your hair should be less frizzy. AND it prevents breakage and split ends)
– use a conditioner that is specially formed to help straighten hair. (I like Sunsilk Straighten up , its a purple bottle)
– towel dry your hair instead of blow drying
– use hair masks 1-2 times a week.

You can't really repair hair unless you cut it all off LOL but I doubt you want to do that, hair is alreayd dead but you can always try to tame it.

As well, if you want straighter hair, try a silk serum. Or after a shower and if you must blowdry, blow dry it straight with a brush. if you permanently want your hair to be straight, get a straightening perm. they usually last you 8months to a year.

Hope this helped! :)

To rebuild your hair, use Paul Mitchell brand "Super Strong" Shampoo/Conditioner. if your hair is really damaged, I'd suggest you purchase the liquid treatment also. Buy these items at the salon, because department store items are not usually what they say they are.

If you use the treatment, spritz it in your hair while it's still damp. Blow dry your hair all the way.

When you straighten your hair, make sure you are doing it in sections, starting from the bottom up. This gets more at your roots so that it does stay straight longer.

If you use hair spray, spray a little on your brush, then brush your hair. Leave it alone and your done. =)

try not to touch your hair to much

Tape Back Up Solution?

Hi, I need some information on a Tape Drive back-up solution.

My database right now is, 15GB, and I would like to purchase an External Tape drive and make a daily backups and store them offsite. but I need to tape drive that will alow me to grow, so if my Database becomes 50GB then i can still use the same tape drive, I would like to keep it for a while.

I was wondering, IF the tape gets full, will it continue backing up on another tape? or is it only 1 Tape perback up.

I was looking at DAT-72 tapes, which are 72GB compressed, I dont fully understand what that means either. my question for that is. say i have a Database thats 144GB , would the tape drive back up half on one tape and half on the other tape? and if so, how would I access that in the future..?

Can i use a DLT III XT Tape media in DELL PowerVault 110T Vs80?

Currently i use DLT IV tapes but i received backups from other office which i need to retrieve from DLT III XT tapes.
