I am trying to start an acting career, but I can't do that unless I have scripts for movies. Does anyone know how that works? I need to know how you get a script. THANKS!
It doesn't work that way. As a minor, your parents have to make it happen. Before trying you need to prove you have the natural ability in sufficient quantity and quality to succeed. you do this by being in all the school and community plays you can, taking a couple of professional acting classes and building a resume, then you try to get an agent.
You don't necessarily need a script. When you audition, you use monologues, judges don't have time for you to act out a whole scene when there are hundreds of other people who need to audition. You'll get a script when you get picked to do a movie. you can use Google to search for acting monologues that could help you get started. Be sure to find some kind of agent. it looks better when you're represented by someone. Good luck!
