I have a friend who has a Cessna 206. I know he is always going through batteries in the headsets. so being Christmas I thought a nice gift would be some sort of in plane battery charger. I don't know if they make any though. Thank you for your answers in advance.
I didn't know cessnas took triple A batteries…Interesting…
Check on the Duracell site for portable chargers.
Chances are it will plug into the planes cig lighter.
Wow we look just the same, except you got blond hair

each has its advantages and disadvantages. you need to look at your lifestyle and see which one fits it best.
Lithiums are great because they last a long time and don't need to buy another battery
AA are great because you can buy them anywhere if you run low.
Lithiums are bad because you could miss an opportunity if your battery runs out and a replacement can get expensive
AA are bad because if you want to get rechargeables you need to spend a little bit more on them.
These are just a few pros and cons
Not quite a fair question- if you add or "AA rechargeables," lithium's advantage isn't quite so clear. I can't tell you the number of times someone with a proprietary lithium ion battery runs into the problem of "low battery syndrome." If they were using AA, as another pointed out, they could just buy a set almost anywhere and continue to shoot. Now the sensible solution is to buy a relatively expensive second battery, but few seem to. Since almost all, but the Canon A series cameras, take the lithiums, it is almost a moot question.
I'm a big fan of lithium batteries because they last a long time. If you shoot very much like me invest in a spare battery that way you never run out of power. AA's are expensive in the long run.
I like lithium better because you do not have to buy replacements, but the benefit to AA is that you can carry replacements with you so if you are using your camera alot and the battery runs out you can just pop in some new ones and keep going. If you have a lithium and it runs out you have to wait till you get back to charge the battery… bu i am under the impression that AA's run out pretty quick.
I have a kodak easyshare and use Enegizer rechargeables. they work great. The only down side is that they are quite pricey. they do however last a very long time.
The lithium better than AA
