Hilden, Germany – December 11th, 2008 – SEGGER Microcontroller, manufacturer of the J-Link emulator, announces a new member of the J-Link product line.

J-Link ARM Pro is a refined version of the regular J-Link. it has an Ethernet interface in addition to the USB interface, as well as two additional LEDs which are used as hardware status indicators. when J-Link ARM Pro is used via USB it can be USB powered; for Ethernet use it is powered via the USB connector using a USB hub or the power supply that comes with it.

furthermore J-Link ARM Pro comes with licenses for all J-Link related SEGGER software products: FlashDL, FlashBP, RDI, J-Flash, GDB Server, providing the optimum debugging solution for professional developers.

J-Link ARM Pro can be used with almost all ARM debuggers, enabling download to flash memory with an unlimited number of breakpoints when debugging programs located in flash memory of most popular ARM microcontrollers. it also comes with the license to use J-Flash, SEGGER´s popular flash programming software.

J-Link ARM Pro is fully compatible with J-Link ARM and can be used “out-of-the-box”. J-Link ARM Pro uses DHCP per default. the built-in webserver makes manual configuration easy and convenient.

all ARM7/9/11 and Cortex-M3 devices are supported; Cortex-M3 devices can be accessed via JTAG or SWD/SWO at high speed. the latest version of the J Link software can be downloaded free of charge from SEGGER´s website.

“Ethernet allows using the emulator far away from the PC in a development or production environment; download and debugging speed is higher and Ethernet provides electrical isolation from the PC”, says Ivo Geilenbruegge, Marketing Manager of SEGGER Microcontroller.

SEGGER Microcontroller develops and distributes hardware and software development tools as well as software components. all software components are ANSI “C” compliant and can be used in embedded systems including industries such as telecom, medical technology, consumer electronics, automotive industry and industrial automation. SEGGER software products include: embOS (RTOS), emWin (GUI), emFile (File System), emUSB (USB device stack) and embOS/IP (TCP/IP stack). besides the highly efficient software products, SEGGER also provides embedded hardware tools such as the well-known JTAG emulator J-Link, J-Trace and the Flasher (stand alone programmer). SEGGER’s intention is to cut software development time for embedded applications by offering affordable, flexible and easy-to-use tools and software components allowing developers to focus on their applications.

How Many Photos Does A 2GB Memory Card Hold?

I have a 8.2 Megapixle camera and was wondering how many pictures would a 2GB Card Hold

it will hold alot of photos
like 800+

around 500 using full resolution

i just bought a 7.1 pixel camera and at that setting it showed 55 pics for a 256 capacity san disk
2 gig would be 8 times more capacity so the most would be 440 pics and since your pixel is 8.2 that means you would be somewhat less than that — my guess would be 400 give or take
one way to tell is to go to the information on the camera and it says how many pics are left
if empty it should say number of pics at the 8.2 setting
hope this helps stan

What is the most reliable SD memory card for the Canon SD1100 elph camera?

I'm trying to find a reliable 4GB memory card for my new camera but have read horror stories about certain memory cards (losing/erasing photos, 'error' messages, etc). I'm going to be traveling and really need a card I can rely on to NOT screw with my photos. any recommendations?

I usually trust kingston for memory of any kind. They are very good with their tech support and honor their warranty and great customer service.

The second best is Scandisk.

You can easily find them in any store.

I work in IT and from experience, the technology is pretty much the same, there is not much difference between cheap/expensive ones.. really.

Okk the Fujifilm SD Cardd Are Greatt And If You Arnt on a Tight Budget You Can Even Get a Wireless SD Card For $110…Link below. And If You Cant find a Fujifilm One Gett a Panasonic One.

Is it possible to transfer pictures from a PC back onto a digital camera/ memory card?

The reason I ask is my friend emailed me the photos he took from my b'day party and I would like to put them on my digital camera memory card and then take them to Boots to get developed. I have connected the camera via USB and dragged the photos into the folder but when I diconnect it from the pc, the images dont appear on the camera. I am using a vivitar vivicam 4100 camera and 256mb SD memory card.

The files are likely on your cameras card, but in the wrong format for your camera to show them. If you put the card into another device, the pictures would likely show up.
