i have a canon eos ti2. I want two get 2 off camera flashes, perhaps 2 canon speedlight 430ex ii. I want to do it wirelessly but still have all the control over both flashes. how can i do this? And what do I need to get to achieve this?
This is one area where canon is very clearly inferior to Nikon. Nikon's CLS system is excellent for off camera flashing. With Canon it's all rather basic. Here's some good reading on eTTL wireless work: photography-on-the.net/forum/show…
Go to a camera supply shop and ask for wireless flash controllers and receivers.
Nick I think you mean the t2i instead of the ti2??? there is no such camera.
I use light sensing strobes…ever heard of these. they sense the main flash and fire with it. With mine you must use a main flash, on board or external. If that's not what you want yes, you're going to need a wireless transmitter and the flashes that receive that signal.
I got mine at Ritz camera – they may have wireless units. good Luck, Jim
