How Would i go about Taking my Downloaded games from my Laptop and Putting it onto my new Desktop PC?

Unfortunately, because those files were installed from steam, you will be unable to copy from one computer to the next… However, the nice thing about steam is, you can download the programs again… (yes, I know you wanted to avoid this)

It beats not being able to download again and having the games lost.

you may be able to just send the files to your C:/ drive on the PC. but if you downloaded them from a website, or a program like Steam then you should just go back to that site and download them again to your PC. if you've already payed for them you should be able to put them on any computer you wish. if you pirated them, you'll need to download a new copy.

Copy them to a flash drive and reload on new computer

What are the best mini laptops for travel, email, photos and music? ?

My desktop just broke, and as I'm planning a lot of travel in the future, I'm looking into an inexpensive small laptop. I have seen people with the Eee PC, and the HP mini, but I'd like to know what else there is out there. I'd like to be able to compare prices and features to make the best choice. I will mainly just be using it to go online, upload my photos, and download and listen to music.

Any suggestions?
