What kind of sound card should I buy for a Dell Dimension 2400?

Also, where can I buy it, and how much? Links are helpful. (it's a desktop)

Newegg.com

Sound Blaster 24 bit PCI

Any sound card is fine. they are dirt cheap. Check pricewatch.com .

I have the same computer you have. try going to dell.com and see what they offer you then look for the same in stores. as long as they offer it then you know it must work well with your computer.

Why are you trying to buy a sound card for a computer that already has integrated sound? Is there something wrong with the integrated sound? or are you trying to upgrade to a high-end sound card?

If you're trying to "upgrade" to a better soundcard Creative Lab makes a variety of sound cards that range in price between $30 to $200+, higher priced ones being of better specification. (24bit, 192 kHz playback, etc.)
