*if you need any other info feel free to post a reply

1) What specific kind of RAMs can I buy?
2) What is the limit of the physical memory by the motherboard per slot / whole (if any)?
3) Can I update my BIOS? If so, exactly how?
4) is there any way which I can upgrade the processor chip myself just by buying the processor chip? If so, exactly how?

Thanks beforehand! =)

it is not worth the trouble. buy a new computer.

I would rather buy a new PC.

1) What specific kind of RAMs can I buy? – SDRAM
3) Can I update my BIOS? If so, exactly how? – Probably… have a look at ur manufacturers website
4) is there any way which I can upgrade the processor chip myself just by buying the processor chip? If so, exactly how? – again… probably… have a look at ur manufactorers website or google to find your maximum clock speed and what type you would need, it could be so old that it's not worth it…

Good luck in ur quest

Sorry, but I dont think it would be worth the $ to upgrade this computer. Its already pretty maxed out for what it can handle.

A 933mhz with only 133bus & 256k cache is not worth upgrading. make it a kids PC, or donate it to a local charity, that would be my suggestion. Afterschool clubs, daycare centers w/older school aged kids, boy/girl scouts, etc love these type donations & you'll feel good about knowing you helped the kids out.

If you seriously want to keep & spend $ to upgrade this machine, about the only thing you "might" be able to upgrade would be the 128 Ram stick to a 256 which would bump you from 640 total to 756 total mb of RAM. What kind of RAM, you will have to look what kind/size/etc is already installed in the other 2 slots. there are many different types of RAM, so you have to be careful to get the specific type to fit your slots.

BIOS upgrade, you will only know if there is an upgrade available by going to your computers manufacturer & seeing what version bios is current for your make/model motherboard as opposed to what version you are running (vs 2.0). keep in mind, they may not even support your bios/motherboard any longer as it appears pretty old (for computer lifespan anyway)

You cannot upgrade the processor chip, unless the motherboard will accept a larger processor. You will have to research your motherboard & set up and then decide for yourself if its worth it. there is a chance you could fry your motherboard by upgrading or overclocking a processor to a size not supported, so thats something to keep in mind also.

Hope that helps or gives some ideas for places to look.

PS: If your just looking to speed up the general use on your computer you could load up a free version of linux (ubuntu for example is completely free & legal) which would run really fast on this machine as well since it is less resource hog then XP. Just an idea though. Just do a google search for ubuntu & you can go out to their site and see all the info & screen shots. I run this on an old desktop here and its a great alternative with 100's of free programs available legally.

that is a pentium 3 super slow !!!mine is ten time faster !!!duo core 2 extreme !!!8 Gb ddr 3 hyper-x ram !!!8800 Gts X2 !!!

1.your processor sucks !!!if you upgrade it to core 2 duo processor the motherboard wont support !!!

2.that motherboard cant even support DDR-2 ram or DDR-3ram or 4 GB ram !!!

Flashing the BIOS to have more memory than the motherboard supports?

Okay i have told by a friend that i may be able to put more RAM in my computer than my motherboard supports. Like 1Gb more. it only supports 2Gb and thats what i have in it but i found a 1Gb stick to put in if i can. If someone could please help that would be great.
