I have a couple questions about parts that will be used in my new gaming pc?

I will be using this pc for a lot of gaming.

Coolermaster Haf-x
i7-2600k @ 4.8 Ghz
GTX 570 SLI (Good choice? I'll be gaming on a 1920×1200 27")
Asus Maximus IV Extreme Intel P67
8GB Corsair XSM3 1600mhz
Corsair 1000 Watts HX1000W Modular Gaming Power Supply – Quad SLI Ready
64 GB Crucial M4 Series SATA III Gaming MLC Solid State Disk
2TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64M Cache 7200RPM Hard Drive
LG BH10LS30 10X Blu-Ray Rewriter & 16X DVD ±R/±RW Drive
NZXT FAN CONTROL SENTRY LX METER BLACK

Questions:

I've read that the Thermaltake Frio and CoolerMaster V8 Gaming CPU Cooling Fan are decent CPU coolers but im fairly new to computers so im not sure if water cooling would serve better considering the fact that the CPU will be overclocked? 3 x 120mm (500-1,200 RPM) silent Case Cooling Fans will also be put inside the case, would this help keep temps down?

Will the fans already in the Coolermaster Haf-x plus the extra fans keep the system cool considering that both the CPU and the GPU's will be overcloked?

Can my 1000W PSU handle this set up? or will it be stressed to cope?

I may be able to get my hands on my bro's pc surround system, would a sound card be a good idea or is the onboard enough?

Im fairly new to the concept of building pcs and have only got interested recerntly so if I have left anything out or if you have any better ideas please advise.

Oh yeah, any ideas on what full HD 27" 2ms monitor I should get?

Cheers, thanks in advance! Sorry for the essay!

1000 watts is enough, you won't need to overclock that cpu. The V-8 is a good air cooler, water cooling is higher maintenance. have 3 case fans, that is enough. Onboard sound is fine for me, you can add it very easily later. If your monitor is too big your eyes work harder to do the same thing. 19inch is good for me. I sometimes play my games smaller as it's easier and faster. all the parts look good to me.

I have a water cooling radiator in open air. Would performances be better by using two fans on every side?

YES it would…just like a car you need the moving air to lower the temps stagnant air just hangs around the radiator allowing temps to build up. put it in a "push, pull" configuration for best effect. the fans should be the same with the same RPM,s
