Just found out about my CPU?

I just found out that my processor is a Cyrix I have never heard of this. Do they still make them?

too stupid to design their own.

Cryix is a very old processor that went out of business against Intel and AMD. There are some fixes for them and people can overclock them, but not worth your time.

They no longer produce CPUs for mainstream computers, under the Cyrix name but their technology has contributed to the development of AMD CPUs and the VIA chip set.

I just bought new motherboard and CPU unit and dno if im doing something rung?

oki the cpu fan is moving back forwards and nothing is showing on screen whats going need more power?

Did you put it in yourself and if you did do you know anything that isn't for beginners about computers. if you don't, you need a professional to look at it and reinstall the motherboard ;) . all I can think of right now.
