I'm looking for a 2008 New York City travel guide. does anyone have any suggestions on one? also, what is your opinion of the Frommer's, Fodor's, or DK travel guides?
LONELY PLANET is the best!!!
it has everything from walking tour to great eats!
Right now, I have them in my filing cabinet but the file is bulging, there must be a better way.
purge the outdated ones and remember the info can be found online at any time.
I have them in magazine boxes on my bookshelf. you can get cardboard ones that you foldyourself or there are some very nice ones at stationery suppliers these days.
I put mine up above my stove in a very little used area. use something as bookends, then just store them between them. I tape the receipt to the inside cover, mark the book with the date and place of purchase. everything is easy to find and see at a glance. Any extra cabinet or drawer could use the same system.
I keep the general ones manuals and receipts in magazine boxes.
however, if the manual is for an appliance that I use frequently, these are filed in a clear plastic 81/2 by 11 envelope in a drawer or on a shelf in the appropriate room near the appliance. example: microwave, refrigerator waffle iron etc. are in the kitchen envelope. In a drawer in the kitchen. In the laundry room are the instructions for the Washer and Dryer, iron.
I really want read the dragon booster series but i cannot find any dragon booster book near my homee, montreal , so if anyone knows where i can find dragon booster books please let me know!!
