Can someone tell me about PSP emulation?

I'm looking to emulate some older games on a handheld console, and everyone says the best way to go is the PSP. I have a few questions that hopefully someone on here can help me with:

1. can the PSP play GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, Genesis/Megadrive and PS1 games smoothly?
2. how many ROMs/emulators could a PSP contain at once?
3. do you need to buy anything other than the console itself and a memory stick?
4. is it complicated, or am I likely to run into many problems trying to get these games to work? I'm not super tech-savvy, I only know basic stuff…

1. Yes, I use GPSP Kai for emulating GBC and GBA ROMS, i can also run PS1 games (PSX) smoothly. You can also run SNES, NES and Dreamcast ROMS. as for DS ROMS, it is laggy
2. as long as you have free space (Final Fantasy IX Rom is 1.75GB) (GBA ROMs range from 4MB to 40 MB)
3.USB for transfering ROMs from PC to PSP
4.It is actually pretty easy. It's only a matter of figuring out where to put files in the right folders and having the right custom firmware.

Sega Genises VS. Super Nintendo?

i like them both the same

Is it possible to play Sega ROMS on an actual Sega Megadrive/Genesis system ?

A friend of mine has some Flash drive thing for the Nintendo DS. This makes me thing something similar must have existed for the Megadrive. It would be cool if it did. 10 years ago I had about 60 megadrive games on a zip disk!!!

No – you need hardware too. you may be able to find a device that will play the roms using a MegaDrive, they usually come from Hong Kong, my friend had 1 for SNES it was called WildCard. I think there was a SEGA version too.

What do I need to make my sega megadrive work on my digital tv?

It just won't work and I want to play sonic!

you wont be able to get a MD to work on any new HD t.v… I have tried and failed,
you need to get an older T.v
you can get hold off one from a charity shop for about £5
